Welcome to Dragonflys and Dreams—a metaphysical space that has been part of the Sydney, Nova Scotia community since 2008.

Founded by Sharon, the heart and “gatekeeper” of the shop, this space has grown from a small vision into a welcoming destination filled with meaningful treasures, connection, and care.

Now at 80 years young, Sharon is still very much part of the shop’s roots—sharing her knowledge, warmth, and genuine love for people who walk through the door. Many visitors are welcomed to sit in the “chair”—a simple but meaningful tradition in the shop—where they are invited to pause, rest, and take in the energy of the space. Often, this moment is shared with a cup of tea, coffee, or something sweet, and a quiet conversation that reminds people they are welcome just as they are.

At its core, this is a metaphysical shop filled with gifts, tools, and treasures meant to inspire curiosity, comfort, and personal exploration. From crystals and tarot cards to incense, jewelry, oils, and more, every item is thoughtfully chosen and continually evolving as new pieces arrive.

While the shop remains rooted in its original intention, it continues to grow. We are now expanding with new workshops, new products, and a variety of intuitive services offered both in-store and remotely.
